I am in trouble now.
So it is official. Jake is up and off on his own. He has been polishing his walking skills very seriously over the last couple of days even walking from the table to mom, but today he got up and just starting walking to where ever his heart desires. It actually made me cry! I am so proud of him, but he is growning up way too fast. Too bad the only video camera I have is on my cell phone....
Jack's weekend
Jack trialed this weekend. We ran 2 Open Jumpers and 2 Open Standards. We did get a 1st on Saturday in Open Standard. That was our only qualifing run for the weekend. Here are pictures from today's Standard. He had two refusals at the weaves. Entrance was not nice, and then he popped out after weave 7. Other than those stinking weaves, Jack ran very nice. And boy that dog can jump! Check out the height he gets.

Not enough time in the day.
I have been pretty lazy about updating. Summer days are just not long enough. Though, my effort is still better than the rest of my family!!!!!!!
I love nothing more than to see one of my equi-kids taking a nap. It just makes me happy to know that they feel safe and secure enough to lay down. Isn't Phil just a beauty? I love this horse.
And it makes me even more happy to see her napping by E.T. She still loves him how many weeks later. She makes him feel happy and loved. The old man looks pretty good today, doesn't he?
Can't forget about the painted devil, I mean Cappy. He is super special this week. He has a tenative date for training next month. It is about time. He looks good despite is evil mentality lately.
For the Fourth, Jacob was a perfect cottage baby. He loved the boat, loved the water, loved the camper and of course, loved Lu
