Jacob's first semi ride. Can you even see him in there? Good thing he is blonde or I wouldn't be able to see him
Helping John clean the weight sled before the tractor pulls.

Jacob thought it was pretty neat to be up close to the tractors but it got even better when John let him ride on the sled with him.

Random pics

Not much time for much until Jacob decided he wanted a week off of daycare. Poor guy has Influenza strain A (most likely H1N1 but still waiting for tests to confirm) and Pneumonia. So as my sick baby is napping I figured I'd post a few pics.

Someone wants to be just like the big boys

Are we being naughty or nice?

One of the proofs from Jacob's pics

Not to sick to play in the water... as always.

Jacob definitely enjoyed the Theresa Tractor pulls... after I took his icky shoes off

And then he was a bigger helper with chores for the animals for the night

Party time!

Jacob had his 1st party that was all about him! Being 1 he really didn't care about cake or presents until someone else unwrapped them so he could see what they were and then wanted to play with them. Jacob was excited to see his cake but only so he could play with the trucks that were on it. After that, he had no interest in it whatsoever.

Daddy slavedaway on Friday and Saturday to make Jacob's swing set. Harold had little help from me since I was still mending from my launch off of Phil. Jacob is just thrilled to have a swing set in his backyard that is all his!

Just that kind of day.

Poor Jacob. Someone is just not feeling good.

I am in trouble now.

So it is official. Jake is up and off on his own. He has been polishing his walking skills very seriously over the last couple of days even walking from the table to mom, but today he got up and just starting walking to where ever his heart desires. It actually made me cry! I am so proud of him, but he is growning up way too fast. Too bad the only video camera I have is on my cell phone....

Jack's weekend

Jack trialed this weekend. We ran 2 Open Jumpers and 2 Open Standards. We did get a 1st on Saturday in Open Standard. That was our only qualifing run for the weekend. Here are pictures from today's Standard. He had two refusals at the weaves. Entrance was not nice, and then he popped out after weave 7. Other than those stinking weaves, Jack ran very nice. And boy that dog can jump! Check out the height he gets.
