Ugh... let the fun begin

December. So far it has not been the best month. First of all, I lost Jacob. I couldn't find him. Seriously. I panicked. He was exploring his new playground... the inside of the entertainment center that was moved here since my house in town finally sold. He found it very funny. Things did start to get better. We went downtown on Saturday and saw Santa's reindeer and went on a wagon ride with the Whisper Hill Clydesdales.
On Sunday, we went on our adventure to pick out our Christmas tree. It started out nice...
but when you see this....
it just tells you how good the day went. Thankfully, Harold is mechanical and managed to get his truck started without too much drama. Damn starter.

When we finally got home, Jacob was more than happy to help decorate
but as some of you know, we had a beautiful Christmas tree for about 24 hours and then it came crashing down, making a worse mess than when our tree came crashing down last year. Not good.
And now I am stuck at home, snowed in. Now that is not a bad thing.....

Happy Halloween! Mooooo!

Jacob wanted to be a Moo all day. He was not happy to have is costume taken off to be replaced with PJs for the night. I do believe he had a good Halloween.

This sick baby crap is no fun. Jacob has made a 4th trip to the doctor in about a month. Let's hope that is it for a while. He is on the mend for whatever ailed him last week and has a lot of fun goofing around with dad, the dogs and the horses.
Can you see who is snoozing with Jacob? The black dog... If the side is dropped, Jack leaps and and curls up...

Jacob's first semi ride. Can you even see him in there? Good thing he is blonde or I wouldn't be able to see him
Helping John clean the weight sled before the tractor pulls.

Jacob thought it was pretty neat to be up close to the tractors but it got even better when John let him ride on the sled with him.

Random pics

Not much time for much until Jacob decided he wanted a week off of daycare. Poor guy has Influenza strain A (most likely H1N1 but still waiting for tests to confirm) and Pneumonia. So as my sick baby is napping I figured I'd post a few pics.

Not to sick to play in the water... as always.
