Bath time!

Since life has been good and quiet, there hasn't been much new to share. Plus my online class has taken up much of my computer time. So, anyways, today was bath day, and Jacob really likes his baths right now.

I had to add just a couple of naked baby pictures. I haven't posted any of those yet.

Harold and I have been in the process of moving furniture around and our bedroom is now upstairs by Jacob's. Neither Greta nor Jack were happy about "their" bed being moved so they have taken to sleeping in Jacob's room

Just because.... the view from Jacob's bedroom window. Gotta love country life.
And the view from our bedroom window. I wake up in the morning and can see my horse. After how many years of owning a horse, it is a cool feeling to be able to look out the window and check on him.

Playing outside

Jacob, Jack, Greta and I decided it was too nice to stay inside to do homework, so we all ventured outside to the backyard. Needless to say, I didn't get too much reading done but it was an enjoyable afternoon.

Since there are no pictures of Jacob and I together, here is our self potrait.

Playing in the farm

Meet Scrappy. He's a bull. But I like him. He is kinda nice. He lets me pet him. Check out those horns... you don't wanna mess with him...

Here is the newest little bull calf. He was born over Labor Day weekend while we were gone up north. Cute little guy, isn't he?

Heading back out to pasture after dinner. Another beautiful day.

The horses are enjoying their all you can eat buffet. Cappy is learning to get along with his two new friends.

Nothing important.

The dogs are happy that it is not raining today. They had excess energy to burn off today.

Jack can jump. I moved some of my agility stuff over from my house so that Jack can practice for his upcoming trial in October.

Jack has beautiful height, but his jump form has a lot left to be desired.

Yep, great vertical. That is a 22 inch jump. Cleared with many inches to spare.

It was just a beautiful afternoon here at the farm. Look at that sky...

Rainy days

It has been a couple of quiet days unwinding from the long holiday weekend. This morning Jacob was hanging out with me as I was trying to get some homework started for my class at Marian. Look what I caught on camera instead of working hard on my assignments...

Cottage life

Oh, what a stupid hat. No one was happy about this stupid hat. Not me, not Harold, and surely not Jacob. But that is what nice weather brings when you are too little to where sunscreen.

Really, Jacob looks kinda pissed about having to wear this stupid hat. Life is no fun.

Cousin Olivia with Baby Jacob

Grandpa, Cousin Brady and Jacob

Cousin Brady while he still has his curls. Some one said he is going to get a haircut soon. What is wrong with all of those curls? I love them.
We spent the holiday weekend up at the cottage. Beautiful weather, nice relaxing time. It was great.

Umm...

Jacob and Grandma

Greta was having issues, I think. Either she wanted to spend more time by Jacob since she is normally his protector and her services weren't needed this weekend, or she just wanted more attention. She thought that she could fit in Jacob's chair. I never figured she would, but I was proven wrong. Um, 60 lb dog in an infant seat... okay.

Greta also likes to play with Olivia. Olivia likes to dress up Greta in numerous different things.

And since Lu dog's owner doesn't update his blog, I figured I better give her a spot here. Isn't she cute? Greta and Jack don't think "cute" cuts it though. They did not like having to share their cottage and their family with another dog. They were a little bit crabby about her being around but I think they will all grow on each other. Only time will tell
