Yucky, Icky weather...enough already.

I was kindly woken up at about 4:00 this morning when Harold's phone rang for him to go plow. Winter can be over already. I am more than ready for the mud goddess to show up for good and let spring do its thing.

It has been rather quiet around here, which is a good thing. I am having a hard time believing that Jacob is going to be 8 months old tomorrow. He is quasi mobile. He can combat crawl and is quite efficient at that. He has officially dissed almost all baby food, with the exception of cereal, and has graduated to table foods. He seems to love just about everything. Even his daycare teachers are amazed at how well he eats. Again, he definitely takes after his dad. Last night we went out for dinner, and Jacob was happy with his applesauce and cheerios (plus he ate before we went) until the tenderloin came. So my dinner became Jacob's.

Also, in the last 8 months, Jack has come a long way. A momma's boy no more. Since Harold is laid off, Jack seems to think he belongs to Harold. Also, he has become very fond of Jacob. It took him a lot longer to warm up to Jacob than for Greta. Jacob would come into a room and Jack would leave. As we can see, that is no longer the case.

The boys...
